The step-up flute your director will actually recommend — set up, tested, and ready to play the day it arrives.
Every YFL-362HY/LPGP that leaves our Norwalk shop is fully assembled, play-tested, and adjusted by our in-house repair technicians before it ships — not dropped on your porch straight from a warehouse box. If your student is moving up from a beginner instrument, this is the flute teachers point to: open-hole keys and a B-footjoint with gizmo key for extended range and faster technique, a sterling silver headjoint with gold-plated lip plate for real tonal depth, and Yamaha's pointed key arms for a level of mechanical precision student-grade flutes don't have.
Why families buy this flute from AAA instead of anywhere else!
- ✅ Arrives professionally adjusted and play-tested — not a box from a warehouse
- ✅ Backed by 45+ years serving Fairfield County band & orchestra programs
- ✅ Free setup checks and adjustments for the life of the instrument at any of our 3 CT locations
- ✅ Includes genuine Yamaha case (FLC-48H) and protective cover (FLB-400EHII)
- ✅ Trade-up credit toward a professional flute when your student is ready for the next step
Not sure if buying is the right move yet? Most families start with a rental — it's the lower-risk way to find out if this is the right instrument before committing. See rental options →
