Yamaha YCL-CSGIIIL Custom G Series Professional Bb Clarinet
The Yamaha YCL-CSGIIIL is a handcrafted professional clarinet for players who want a distinctive, richly colored sound and the control to shape it. Its grenadilla body and Yamaha’s refined CSG design produce a warm, centered tone with a clear core, while tapered tone holes with hand-finished undercutting help support an even response across the instrument.
The CSG design brings together a German-influenced tonal concept and modern Yamaha keywork. A short-barrel approach and ringless bell contribute to its soft-edged character, while the two included barrels give players options for adjusting response and intonation to suit their needs. The low F correction mechanism and adjustable thumb rest add practical refinements for demanding performance.
Designed for professional clarinetists, the YCL-CSGIIIL is at home in orchestral, chamber, and solo settings. It offers players the tonal depth and flexibility to move from a focused, centered sound to a broader range of expressive colors.
