The Jupiter JAS1100Q Alto Saxophone is a refined step-up instrument designed for advancing students and serious saxophonists ready to experience a richer, more mature sound and a truly professional feel. Combining hand-crafted design elements with modern precision manufacturing, the JAS1100Q delivers exceptional response, smooth playability, and the kind of tonal depth that inspires musicians to practice and perform with confidence.
From the first note, the JAS1100Q offers a warm, resonant tone with impressive projection and excellent intonation throughout the entire range of the instrument. The smooth ergonomic keywork feels comfortable and responsive under the fingers, making technical passages easier while helping developing players build confidence and consistency. Whether in concert band, jazz ensemble, marching band, or private lessons, this saxophone performs beautifully in virtually any musical setting.
At the heart of the instrument is Jupiter’s acclaimed Sona-Pure Neck, crafted using specialized artisan tooling and annealing processes that produce a darker, vintage-inspired tonal character with outstanding resonance. The gold-lacquered brass body not only gives the instrument a classic professional appearance, but also contributes to its durability, accuracy of scale, and rich tonal warmth.
Metal Tone Boosters further enhance the instrument’s response by adding brilliance and improving pad seating for a tighter, more dependable key seal. The result is an alto saxophone that feels responsive, balanced, and inspiring every time it’s played.
Professionally set up and play-tested by AAA Band Rentals before delivery, the Jupiter JAS1100Q arrives ready to perform right out of the case and represents an outstanding value for the committed student seeking a serious upgrade.
